The African goose is a massive bird with a heavy body, a jaunty posture that gives the impression of strength and vitality. Breeding can be costly but this goose produces high-quality, lean meat, and is considered a premier roasting goose.

The White Chinese Goose is a fairly small breed and has an amazing all-white coat. They are productive egg layers and make good 'watch dogs' and pets.

The American Buff features a lovely apricot-fawn color, a large body, and is calm and docile. They are very well suited for a home family flock and make a good medium roasting bird.
